A Real Story, From a Real Family.
We know this process is hard — we’ve done it ourselves.
After our loved one had a sudden fall, as adult children and grandchildren, we were faced with urgent decisions. The more time we took, the more the hospital bills racked up.
It was complex, overwhelming and we didn’t feel prepared.
Our family felt the stress. We were overloaded with information from the many different aged care providers with hard to use websites. We questioned what was in our best interest…or just trying to make a profit.
After weeks of extensive research, consultations and advice, we organised a plan. Learning a few lessons the hard way, and with a few bumpy steps, we had a long-term plan and peace of mind that our mum and grandma, was in the right place.
It’s just not true to say it’s the “happiest she’s ever been” or that she’s “thriving”, which you may read. She’s safe, cared for and most importantly - where she needs to be.
To us, this didn’t feel like a problem to be solved, but adjusting to a new normal.
That’s why we want to share our learnings with families like yours– to help you find peace in a stressful process.
